Round 3 of the Business Boost Grant Program is scheduled to open at 9am on Wednesday, 6 September. The first stage of the competitive application process is a ‘Registration of Interest’ which is due by 5pm on Tuesday, 12 September.
The Department of Youth Justice, Employment, Small Business and Training is funding $10,000 – $20,000 for successful applicants. Funding will be provided once the accepted project has been completed and acquitted (up to 12 months from approval date). A 50% co-contribution from the applying entity must also be met.
The program assists small business to enhance their efficiency and productivity. Support includes funded activities in three priority areas:

Future Planning
-
Specialised and automated software
-
Planning and systems for staff management and development
Eligible entities will have:

between 2 and 19 employees (by headcount);

an active Australian Business Number (ABN);

GST registration;
-
established and financially sound business experiencing growth and a minimum turnover of $300,000 in the last financial year (2022-23);

a publicly accessible web presence to identify business operations (for example, business website, social media pages);

NOT received funding under Round 1 or 2 of the Business Boost grants program; and the ability to declare that they are not insolvent and any owners/directors of the business are not an undischarged bankrupt or currently bankrupt
